Pilot in Command - Gulfstream 550

Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a highly qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream 550 aircraft based at Bradley International Airport (KBDL) in Connecticut. This position operates within a multi-pilot environment, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant, under Part 91 regulations. The PIC assumes ultimate responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft, adhering to all company and regulatory standards while delivering an exceptional service experience. The role involves supporting a family with a long history of aircraft ownership, with travel primarily within the domestic United States, and occasionally including one or two international trips per year. The three-pilot rotation allows for a favorable work-life balance, despite the lack of a fixed schedule. The ideal candidate will be safety-minded, service-oriented, a strong team player, and possess a high level of attention to detail. Candidates must be local to the KBDL area or willing to relocate.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of prior professional aviation experience.
• Prior experience in corporate or business aviation is required.
• Must possess an FAA Type Rating in the applicable fleet (G550). A G650 rating is also desirable.
• The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Total flight time of 3500 hours.
• 1500 hours of Multi-Engine Land experience.
• 2000 hours of Pilot in Command experience.
• 500 hours of Pilot in Command Multi-Engine Land experience.
• 300 hours of Instrument experience.
• 500 hours of Jet experience.
