Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a leader in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command for a Gulfstream G450 based in Atlanta, GA (KPDK). This Part 135 operation requires a professional dedicated to safety, exceptional service, and unwavering adherence to regulatory compliance.
The Pilot in Command holds ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the aircraft. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, proactive risk mitigation, and a commitment to delivering a superior customer experience.
Ensuring Flight Safety: The successful candidate will manage all aspects of flight operations, including compliance with company and regulatory requirements, meticulous flight planning (including performance calculations and weight and balance), utilization of Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology, adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and acting as the Ground and In-Flight Security Coordinator (as defined by company policy). This includes conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, recording aircraft discrepancies, and overseeing ground servicing.
Delivering Exceptional Service: The Pilot in Command will provide superior service to passengers, proactively identifying opportunities for service enhancement, and resolving service deviations effectively. Collaboration with crew members and internal partners is critical to ensuring consistent service delivery and conflict resolution. Professional and courteous passenger briefings are paramount.
Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance: This position necessitates the maintenance of all required regulatory and company training and recency requirements. Active participation in the company Safety Management System (SMS) and timely reporting of safety concerns or non-compliance issues are essential.
Minimum 4-6 years of experience.
Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is highly preferred.
FAA Type Rating for the Gulfstream G450 is required.
Ability to perform all essential functions of the position.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
PIC MEL: 500 hours
Instrument: 300 hours
Jet: 500 hours
