Pilot in Command, Gulfstream G450 Float (Homebased) - Executive Jet Management
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and part of the world's largest private aviation infrastructure, is seeking a highly qualified Pilot in Command to join its G450 Float Program. Purpose of Position:
The Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of flight assignments, prioritizing the well-being of passengers. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, providing exceptional customer service, and fostering a safe and professional environment for all crew members.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures Safe Operation of Flight:
- Complies with company and regulatory requirements for crewing and trip assignments.
- Completes flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks.
- Employs Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with internal personnel.
- Acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completes all aircraft pre-flight tasks, ensuring mission capability and recording discrepancies in accordance with SOPs.
- Monitors and ensures the completion of all aircraft ground servicing requirements (fueling, oil, oxygen).
- Conducts passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations, delivering the highest level of customer service and addressing any special needs.
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for effective communication during all phases of flight.
Delivers Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides exceptional service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying opportunities for service enhancement.
- Resolves service deviations promptly and effectively.
- Collaborates with fellow crew members and internal partners to deliver a consistent and positive service experience.
- Resolves conflict and challenges professionally and constructively.
Maintains Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Adheres to the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports safety concerns or non-compliance issues through appropriate channels.
Qualifications:
- Certifications and Licenses: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
- Years of Experience: 4-6 years of experience in aviation, with prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred.
- Type Rating: Preference will be given to GV/450/550 type-rated individuals.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
