Pilot in Command - Gulfstream G550
Executive Jet Management, a subsidiary of NetJets and part of the world's largest private aviation infrastructure, is seeking a highly qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) to join its team based at KSTP airport in St. Paul, Minnesota.
This is a full-time position within a four-pilot operation supporting a Gulfstream G550 aircraft. The role primarily involves domestic flights under Part 91 regulations, with occasional international leisure trips. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft while delivering an exceptional service experience to passengers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Safe Flight Operations:
- Comply with all company and regulatory requirements for crewing and trip assignments.
- Conduct thorough flight planning, including performance calculations, weight and balance analysis.
- Implement Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate with company personnel as needed.
- Act as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as per company policy.
- Complete all pre-flight tasks, including verifying aircraft maintenance status and recording any discrepancies in accordance with SOPs.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to aircraft ground servicing procedures (fueling, oil, oxygen).
- Conduct passenger briefings as per company policy and regulations, providing the highest level of customer service and accommodating any special needs.
- Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to effectively communicate with crew and support personnel during all phases of operation.
- Delivering Exceptional Service:
- Provide excellent service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Regularly investigate and resolve service deviations.
- Collaborate with fellow crew members and internal EJM partners to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Professionally address and resolve conflicts and challenges.
- Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintain regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Adhere to the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and report safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.
Qualifications:
- Certifications and Licenses:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license.
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience as a pilot.
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet.
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position.
- Minimum time requirements:
- Total flight time: 3,500 hours.
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours.
- Pilot in Command: 2,000 hours.
- PIC MEL: 500 hours.
- Instrument: 300 hours.
- Jet: 500 hours.
- Strong international oceanic flight experience.
- G550 Type rating and currency are required for this position.
