Executive Jet Management Seeks G450 Pilot in Command
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pilot in Command (PIC) for a G450 aircraft based in Green Bay, Wisconsin (GRB). This exclusive two-pilot account offers the opportunity to fly approximately 300 hours annually, primarily to destinations in Florida and Colorado. A dedicated Maintenance Technician provides comprehensive support for this Part 91 operation.
The Position:
The PIC holds ultimate responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This leadership role demands unwavering adherence to all company and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience for our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring Safe Flight Operations:
- Meticulously verify crew and trip assignments comply with all regulatory and company mandates.
- Execute comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each flight.
- Employ the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to effectively mitigate operational risks.
- Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate seamlessly with all relevant personnel.
- Act as designated Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as outlined in company policy.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, including meticulous review of aircraft maintenance status, to guarantee mission readiness. Diligently record any discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Supervise and ensure all ground servicing tasks (fueling, oil, oxygen) are performed in strict adherence to established SOPs.
- Deliver comprehensive passenger briefings that meet all regulatory and company standards. Provide the highest level of customer service, attentively addressing the unique needs of each passenger.
- Masterfully utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to facilitate clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during all phases of flight.
Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Consistently provide superior service to aircraft owners and passengers, proactively identifying opportunities to elevate the EJM experience. Investigate and resolve any service-related issues promptly and thoroughly.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to maintain a consistent and exceptional service experience for all passengers. Skillfully navigate and resolve any conflicts or challenges.
Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Remain current on all regulatory and company-mandated training requirements.
- Maintain strict compliance with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and report any safety concerns or non-compliance issues through appropriate channels.
Qualifications:
Certifications and Licenses:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- First Class Medical Certificate
Experience:
- 4-6 years of relevant flight experience
- Prior corporate/business aviation experience strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet (G450 or similar Gulfstream experience preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the position
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- Documented international flight experience
