Executive Jet Management is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Regional Chief Pilot to oversee and manage pilot operations within the Northeast region, specifically focusing on the New York Metro area. This position offers the opportunity to participate as a flight crewmember on EJM managed aircraft as needed. While flight crew qualifications are desirable, they are not mandatory for this non-14 CFR 119 role.

Responsibilities:

  • Pilot Management: Serving as the primary point of contact for all pilot and crew matters, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Talent Acquisition & Engagement: Attracting and onboarding new pilots, actively engaging with existing staff, and promoting a culture of continuous professional development.
  • Owner Liaison: Acting as the primary point of contact for aircraft owners on all pilot-related issues, maintaining open communication and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient aircraft and pilot onboarding and offboarding processes, including training, compliance, and performance reviews.
  • Safety & Compliance: Upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance by actively engaging with pilots, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations.
  • Strategic Support: Collaborating with the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations on policy development, implementation, and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Aviation Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Flight Operations, Dispatch, Operational Control, or a comparable role.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of FAA regulations governing Part 91, Part 135, and Part 119, as well as knowledge of IACO SARPS and international operations.
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire a team of pilots.
  • Commitment: Dedication to safety, compliance, and upholding the highest professional standards.

Additional Information:

  • This position requires travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Preference will be given to candidates currently residing within the New York Metro area.
  • Previous experience in global Part 135 operations is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits:

Executive Jet Management offers a competitive salary package ranging from $200,000 to $355,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
