121 Chief Pilot

Job Summary
The 121 Chief Pilot will provide revenue service and administrative function to flight operations under FAR 121.
Duties and Responsibilities

Supervises flight personnel flying under FAR 121 and acts as a liaison between flight personnel and Director of Operations.

Participates in staffing level and performance assessments.

Performs all functions and duties of a 121 Line Pilot.

Maintains familiarity and knowledge of new concepts and innovations, changes in regulations, procedures and improvements concerning the safe operations of all Company aircraft.

Knowledgeable in all applicable policies, procedures, manuals, handbooks and protocol.

Exhibits a positive attitude and serves as a role model to others
Requirements
Education and Experience:
-
Must have at least 3 years’ experience as PIC of a large airplane operated under Part 121 or Part 135 within the last 6 years, required.

Must meet Captain qualifications under 121.436, required.

Previous experience as instructor, check airman or FAA examiner in aircraft and/or advanced simulators, preferred.
ATR Captain Requirements:

ATP certificate with MEL

1st class medical
-
2500 TT
-
500 PIC
-
1000 MEL
-
300 turbine/turboprop
-
500 crew time
-
121.436 Pilot Qualification
-
IFR currency and proficiency
Working Conditions:
-
Work is performed in an office environment, outdoors and in an aircraft.

Will be exposed to inclement weather.

Requires standing, walking, sitting, bending and stooping for extended periods of time.

May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Requires manual dexterity, speaking, seeing and hearing to conduct business.

Must understand and adhere to the organization’s FAA/DOT required drug and alcohol program.
