Elevate Jet, a premier provider of aircraft charter, management, and sales services, seeks a highly skilled Global Express 7500 Pilot-in-Command to join their team in Sydney, Australia. Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, adhering to federal regulations and Elevate Jet's General Operations Manual. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to superior customer service.
The Pilot-in-Command will work collaboratively with the Second-in-Command in a crew environment, ensuring all aspects of aircraft readiness and maintaining seamless communication with operations. They will also maintain financial and operational records for each flight and foster a team-oriented environment that encourages excellence.
Essential qualifications include a Multi-Engine FAA ATP (G7500 Type Rating preferred), a minimum of 5,000 hours total flight time, with 500 hours in Global Express aircraft (preferably type-specific), a valid Class 1 medical certificate, and a clean safety record. The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to Canada. Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.10 for international commercial air transport is also required.
A college degree is preferred, along with significant previous corporate flight experience and international experience in an Ultra Long Range aircraft. The position involves 100% travel, with schedule rotation varying by aircraft. The candidate must hold an Australian passport or be a resident with the legal right to work in Australia. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proof of certain vaccinations may be required.
