General Overview

This position, reporting to the Chief Pilot, offers a guaranteed minimum of seventy-two (72) hours per month. The successful candidate will hold a type rating on multi-engine aircraft, with preference given to those with a B-737 type rating and a first-class medical certificate. A thorough understanding of all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) is essential. Excellent communication skills are required, as the candidate will collaborate with team members and customers in a fast-paced environment while upholding the company's core values.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a First Officer, the individual will work alongside the Captain to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, safeguarding passengers and cargo. The First Officer will guide and coordinate the activities of all personnel involved in every phase of the flight.

Home Base Location

First Officers are considered "Home-Based" with the following guidelines:

  1. Residing within the continental 48 states east of Denver. Denver and Colorado Springs are acceptable home bases.
  2. Designating a home airport within 2 hours of surface travel from their home.
  3. Choosing a home airport served by two major airlines (Delta, American, United, or Southwest) with a minimum of three flights per day. Seasonal airports with increased frequency during certain periods are acceptable.
  4. Understanding that changes to home base may be required if airport frequency decreases.
  5. Being responsible for all parking and ground transportation costs associated with their home base.
  6. Adhering to all reserve rules regarding report time and distance to the airport.
