Eastern Airlines seeks qualified candidates to join their flight operations team. The ideal applicant will possess a minimum of 2000 hours total flight time, with at least 500 hours in jet aircraft. While a specific type rating is not initially required, comprehensive training will be provided. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience operating wide-body aircraft and those demonstrating proficiency in Crew Resource Management (CRM). Applicants must hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate issued by the FAA and a Class 1 Medical Certificate. A restricted radiotelephone operator permit, a valid driver's license, and a passport allowing worldwide travel are essential. The candidate should also have an impeccable safety and training record, proven ability to multitask, and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment. Successful candidates must pass drug and alcohol background checks, a pre-employment DOT drug test, and a criminal history records check (CHRC).
