Eastern Airlines Captain Position
Eastern Airlines seeks highly experienced captains to join its esteemed team. The ideal candidate will possess a distinguished aviation background, meeting the following stringent qualifications:
Flight Experience:
- A minimum of 7,000 total flight hours, exclusively accumulated in the operating seat of turboprop and/or turbojet aircraft.
- At least 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time on multi-crew, multi-engine, commercial aircraft. Experience piloting wide-body aircraft, preferably the Boeing 767 or 777, is highly preferred.
- 2,000 hours of multi-engine flight time.
- 7,000 hours of turbine flight time.
- 1,000 hours of flight time under Part 121 operations.
Licenses and Certifications:
- An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
- A valid Class 1 medical certificate.
- A Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid US driver's license and passport permitting worldwide travel.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings, a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test, and a criminal history records check (CHRC).
- Candidates considered for Direct Entry Captain positions must fulfill all requirements outlined in FAR 121.436.
