Position Summary

Aitheras Aviation Group is seeking a full-time Captain to join the flight operations team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The successful candidate will play a vital role in life-saving missions, enjoying a unique 14 days on / 14 days off schedule while receiving a full-year salary.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote positive attitudes toward safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Execute flight planning, aircraft preflight inspections, and aircraft preparation.
  • Ensure the safe navigation of the aircraft in accordance with approved flight plans.
  • Maintain revisions to aircraft manuals, navigation charts, and checklists.
  • Adhere to all regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and recent flight experience requirements.
  • Maintain current licenses and certificates in compliance with company, FAA, and ICAO requirements.
  • Assist with passenger needs and the loading/unloading of baggage.
  • Oversee aircraft appearance, cleanliness, catering, and commissary inventory.
  • Attend all required ground and simulator training to maintain proficiency in flight operations and aircraft systems.
  • Proactively identify and report operational hazards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Multi-engine Land ATP certificate.
  • 2500 flight hours as Pilot in Command in a multi-engine jet.
  • 200 hours of actual instrument time.
  • 250 night flight hours.
  • Current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Two years of multi-crew experience.
  • Unrestricted passport with the ability to travel internationally without restriction.
  • Must reside within a 45-minute drive of the Fort Lauderdale base or be willing to relocate.
  • CE500 type rating is preferred.
