Aitheras Aviation Group seeks a full-time Captain (PIC) to join their operations in Atlanta, GA. This role involves piloting aircraft for critical medical transport missions, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to life-saving operations. The position is based in Atlanta, GA, and operates on a desirable 14 days on / 14 days off schedule.
About the Role
As a Captain with Aitheras Aviation Group, the incumbent will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of aircraft engaged in patient transport, organ procurement, and critical care missions. The role demands a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, with a significant portion of flights focused on life-saving interventions. Duties include comprehensive flight planning, aircraft preparation, adherence to flight plans and regulations, and maintaining aircraft documentation and supplies. The Captain will also ensure aircraft readiness and appearance, and attend all required training to maintain proficiency.
Requirements
- 2500 flight hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in Multi-engine Jet aircraft.
- 200 hours of actual instrument flight time.
- 250 night flight hours.
- Multi-engine land ATP certificate.
- Unrestricted Passport.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Current First Class Medical certificate.
- Two years of multi-crew experience.
- Must reside within 45 minutes of the assigned base.
