Key Responsibilities:
- The Pilot in Command is responsible for promoting positive attitudes towards compliance and safety standards at all times.
- Duties include meticulous flight planning, comprehensive aircraft preflight inspections, and ensuring the aircraft is prepared for departure.
- The Captain is accountable for the proper execution of the flight, adhering to the approved flight plan and clearance, and navigating the aircraft safely.
- Maintaining current revisions to aircraft manuals, navigation charts, and checklists is essential.
- The Pilot in Command must possess knowledge of and strictly adhere to all applicable regulations, including recent flight experience requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintaining current required licenses and certificates in compliance with company, ICAO (as applicable), and FAA requirements is mandatory.
- Additional responsibilities include assisting with the loading and unloading of baggage, attending to passenger needs as required, ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the aircraft, managing catering orders when necessary, and verifying adequate aircraft commissary inventory and supplies are on board.
- The Captain participates in regularly scheduled ground and simulator training to maintain flight proficiency and comprehensive knowledge of all flight operations, regulations, and aircraft systems.
- Proactive identification and reporting of hazards are expected.
- The Pilot in Command performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will meet the following minimum requirements:
- 2500 hours Pilot in Command in Multi-engine Jet aircraft
- 200 hours actual instrument time
- 250 night hours
- Multi-engine land Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- Unrestricted Passport, enabling international travel without restrictions
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Current First Class Medical certificate
- Two years of multi-crew flight experience
- CE500 type rating is preferred
Location and Relocation:
This position is open to candidates located anywhere, provided they are willing to relocate. The Pilot in Command must reside within a 45-minute drive of an assigned Aitheras Aviation Group hub or be willing to relocate to do so.
