Job Summary
Aitheras Aviation Group is seeking experienced Captain Pilots for its full-time position based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to life-saving missions, including patient transport, organ procurement, and critical care transport, with approximately 90% of flights being life-saving in nature. Aitheras Aviation is a premier medical transport provider, trusted by facilities domestically and internationally since 2005 for safe and rapid transport of critically ill or injured patients. Responsibilities
- Promote positive attitudes toward compliance and safety.
- Perform flight planning, aircraft preflight inspections, and aircraft preparation.
- Execute flights ensuring navigation follows approved flight plans.
- Maintain revisions to aircraft manuals, navigation charts, and checklists.
- Adhere to all applicable regulations, including recent flight experience and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain current required licenses and certificates in compliance with company, ICAO, and FAA requirements.
- Assist with loading and unloading of baggage and provide passenger needs as required.
- Ensure aircraft cleanliness and appearance, order catering when required, and maintain aircraft commissary inventory and supplies.
- Attend scheduled ground and simulator training to maintain flight proficiency and knowledge of flight operations, regulations, and aircraft systems.
- Search for and report hazards.
- Perform all other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2500 flight hours.
- Pilot in Command (PIC) experience in Multi-engine Jet aircraft.
- 200 hours of actual instrument time.
- 250 night flight hours.
- Multi-engine land rating.
- Airline Transportation Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Unrestricted Passport.
- Ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Current First Class Medical certificate.
- Two years of multi-crew experience.
- Valid Medical certificate.
- CE500 type rating is preferred.
- Must reside within a 45-minute drive of the Fort Lauderdale base or be willing to relocate.
