Pilot in Command (PIC) - Richmond, VA
Aitheras Aviation is seeking a qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) to join its team in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the company's mission of providing safe and efficient patient transport, organ procurement, and critical care transport services. Aitheras Aviation is committed to safety, holding full FAA Safety Management System certification.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive attitude towards compliance and safety.
- Perform flight planning, aircraft preflight inspections, and aircraft preparation.
- Ensure the proper execution of flights, adhering to approved flight plans.
- Maintain current revisions to aircraft manuals, navigation charts, and checklists.
- Adhere to all regulations, including recent flight experience and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain all required licenses and certificates to comply with company, ICAO (as applicable), and FAA requirements.
- Assist with loading and unloading baggage and attending to passenger needs.
- Ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the aircraft.
- Order catering and ensure aircraft commissary inventory and supplies are on board.
- Attend regularly scheduled ground and simulator training.
- Maintain flight proficiency and knowledge of all flight operations, regulations, and aircraft systems.
- Identify and report hazards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2500 flight hours Pilot in Command in Multi-engine Jet.
- 200 hours actual instrument time.
- 250 night hours.
- Multi-engine land ATP certificate.
- Unrestricted Passport.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Current First Class Medical certificate.
- Two years of multi-crew experience.
- Ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- CE500 type rating preferred.
- Must live within a 45-minute drive of the Richmond hub or be willing to relocate.
