King Air C90 Pilot

Location: Liberal, Kansas

A leading aviation operator is seeking a qualified and experienced King Air C90 Pilot to join its team based in Liberal, Kansas. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical flight operations while working with a dedicated team of professionals.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $118,517 - $130,369
  • 20% geographic modifier
  • Sign-on bonus: $15,000 (payable upon successful completion of training and check ride)
  • Retention bonus: $40,000 (requires a 6-month wait period and is part of a 3-year program)
  • Consistent 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
  • Relocation assistance: $3,000
  • Company-paid crew housing

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Hold a Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) rating.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate within 5 years of employment.
  • Possess a valid and unexpired driver's license.
  • Hold a current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
  • Accumulate a minimum of 2,500 total flight hours.
  • Have at least 1,000 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours.
  • Document a minimum of 500 Cross Country hours.
  • Hold a minimum of 500 multi-engine hours.
  • Possess a minimum of 100 night hours.
  • Have at least 75 instrument hours (including a minimum of 50 actual instrument hours).

Responsibilities:

The pilot is responsible for:

  • Operating the King Air C90 aircraft as part of a team of medical experts, safely transporting customers to and from designated locations and facilities.
  • Ensuring aircraft readiness for flight dispatches in accordance with appropriate manuals, including all Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and company requirements.
  • Performing aircraft cleanliness duties to maintain presentation standards.
  • Maintaining accurate company and regulatory documentation and record-keeping for shifts, load manifests, and other necessary information.
  • Effectively communicating and collaborating with air and ground dispatch teams, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
  • Providing comprehensive shift change information to the transitioning pilot and team, following established protocols for recording company change board details.
  • Maintaining required certifications and actively participating in ongoing ground and air training programs.

Working Conditions:

Pilots are required to work in various outside weather conditions. Duties may include aircraft de-icing, assisting with towing and maneuvering the aircraft in and out of the hangar, and general aircraft preparation for flight.

Physical Demands:

The role requires physical activity including standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The pilot must be able to lift up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities necessary for this position include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
