Pilot-in-Command - HA420 HondaJet
Cutter Aviation seeks an energetic and knowledgeable aviation professional to serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of a HondaJet HA420, based at the Addison (ADS), Texas location. This remote position entails single-pilot operations supporting owner travel and charter flights. The PIC represents Cutter Aviation, building exceptional relationships and communicating effectively to deliver world-class customer service to the owner and clients. The role also requires on-site management and coordination with Cutter Flight Management regarding all aspects of aircraft operations and support. The PIC serves as the company's external representative to aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the business aviation community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a desire to provide world-class service.

- Adapts to rotating schedules and short-notice callouts.
- Serves as PIC on the HA420 HondaJet in Part 91 and 135 on-demand charter operations.
- Adheres to established procedures for reporting irregularities during flights and ground checks, and maintains accurate records.
- Ensures compliance with FAA regulations pertaining to flight operations, qualifications, currency, fitness for flight, and aircraft compliance.
- Performs additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.
Minimum Requirements:
- Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
- Previous Turbojet Type Rating and/or Turboprop experience preferred.
- Current 1st Class Medical Certificate or ability to qualify.
- No accidents, incidents, or sanctions in the past 5 years.
- Comprehensive knowledge of general aviation aircraft and their service requirements, along with the needs of crews and passengers.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to train a Second-in-Command (SIC) pilot to properly perform their functions.
- Sincere desire to assist customers and be a team player.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to develop a friendly rapport.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to multi-task.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- 3000 Total Time hours.
- 1500 Pilot-in-Command hours.
- 250 Pilot-in-Command hours in turbine-powered aircraft.
- Previous experience in on-demand charter operations.
- Previous FlightSafety International (FSI) or Simuflite Training.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass a drug screening test.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
