Contour Airlines, a well-established aviation services provider, seeks a dedicated First Officer to join its team at the Fort Lauderdale, FL location. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $36,000.00 to $44,959.07 annually, with opportunities for yearly increases based on performance and anniversary date. The role requires a High School education and includes transportation benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety above all else.
- Adhere to schedules and directives governing aircraft operation.
- Perform all company-assigned duties in accordance with company manuals, memos, and policies.
- Conduct diligent preflight planning and prepare flight plans.
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers.
- Ensure the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all necessary provisions.
- Wear the company-issued uniform and adhere to the uniform policy.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a Commercial Multi-Engine Instrument License.
- Must possess a current first-class medical certificate.
- Must demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Worldwide/International aviation experience is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or demonstrate proof of right to work in the U.S.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a current passport.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs routinely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must hold an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE).
- Must be able to work in stressful situations and tight time constraints.
- Must be self-motivated and a team player.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
- Must successfully complete a DOT background investigation, including FBI fingerprints, criminal history, pre-employment drug test, reference check, national driver's record check, and no excessive check ride failures.
- Must have no previous aviation-related accidents or incidents.
- Must live within 120 minutes of the base location.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work safely and professionally adhering to all regulatory requirements.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total Time: 500 hours minimum
- Multi-Engine Time: 25 hours minimum
