Captain - Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ200)
Contour Airlines is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Captain for the Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ200). The Captain is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, adhering to all Company manuals, memos, and policies. This includes comprehensive preflight planning, flight plan preparation, and compliance with schedules and directives governing aircraft operations under Part 135 On Demand regulations. The Captain also provides outstanding customer service to passengers, ensuring the aircraft is clean, well-provisioned, and prepared for flight.
Essential Duties:
- Prioritize safety above all else.
- Comply with schedules and directives governing aircraft operation under Part 135 On Demand operations.
- Perform all Company-assigned duties in accordance with Company manuals, memos, and policies.
- Conduct diligent preflight planning and prepare flight plans.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers.
- Ensure the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all necessary provisions for passenger safety and comfort.
- Adhere to the company's uniform policy.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a U.S. ATP license.
- Must be at least 23 years of age.
- Possess a current first-class medical certificate (verified at the time of the interview).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
- Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Possess a current passport.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs routinely with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Hold an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE).
- Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
- No excessive check ride failures.
- No previous aviation-related accidents or incidents.
- Must reside within 120 minutes of the assigned work location to ensure timely reporting during assigned duty periods.
- Must understand, read, and write English.
- Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.

- Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company-mandated random drug and alcohol tests.
- Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
- Ability to work in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
Minimum and/or Recommended Flight Times:
- Total Time: 1500 hours minimum/2000 hours recommended.
- Pilot in Command Time: 500 hours minimum/1000 hours recommended.
- Multi Engine: 500 hours minimum/1000 hours recommended.
Compensation and Benefits:
The starting annual salary for this position is \$118,000.00 and is eligible for yearly increases based on performance, up to \$147,365.83. Additional pay overrides, such as check pilot (\$25,000.00), AR/GUS (\$10,000.00), and in-base (\$7,500.00) overrides, may be available based on prior experience and other factors. A retention incentive of \$10,000.00 is provided after 24 months of active service, followed by an additional \$10,000.00 every 12 active months thereafter. Pay incentives for additional trips worked may also be available, depending on schedule and thresholds met.
