ConocoPhillips Aviation Alaska is currently looking for DHC8-400 First Officers to be based in Anchorage, AK.
Your responsibilities may include:

Safely/proficiently operating the company aircraft

Maintaining preparedness to proficiently operate as second-in-command for ConocoPhillips Aviation, including being available with 1 hours’ notice for Standby duty, when assigned

Maintaining the ability to readily adapt to changing schedules
-
Planning flights, selecting the safest and most efficient routes, providing for contingencies, and developing alternative flight plan routes
-
Calculating/solving weight and balance problems
-
Obtaining, reviewing, and interpreting weather
-
Checking NOTAMS
-
Utilizing Flight Risk Assessment Tool to assess and mitigate risk
-
Performing aircraft pre-flight and post flight inspections
-
Determining appropriate fuel loads
-
Determining the accurate loading of passengers, baggage and cargo
Basic/Required:
-
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee or asylee
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Commercial Pilot FAA Certificate, multi-engine land rating
-
Current FAA First Class Medical Certification

Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time completed/logged

Minimum 500 hours multiengine airplane flight time completed/logged

Minimum 100 hours PIC airplane flight time completed/logged

Minimum 100 hours multiengine PIC airplane flight time completed/logged

Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodations) to travel 10% on an annual basis

5+ years of direct aviation experience
Preferred:

5+ years of direct aviation experience

Previous experience in an advanced technology cockpit with EFIS and FMS systems
