Dynamic Aviation is seeking a skilled Captain to operate Deployed DHC8 aircraft for tactical intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. This position, based in Bridgewater, Virginia, USA, involves a rotational schedule of approximately 65 days away from home, supporting critical operations in austere locations.
About the Role
The Deployed DHC8 Captain will provide essential pilot services for tactical ISR aircraft, undertaking functional check flights, CONUS/OCONUS ISR operations, and precise aerial surveys across diverse environments. The role requires strict adherence to FAA, Air Force, and company regulations, effective communication with customers, and support for mission operations during non-flying days. Responsibilities extend to operating specialized airborne sensors and communications equipment following comprehensive training.
Requirements

High school diploma

Air Transport Pilot (ATP) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with instrument and multi-engine ratings

High-performance and high-altitude endorsements

First- or second-class FAA medical certificate

Restricted Radiotelephone Operator's Permit

Minimum 1,200 hours total flight time

Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time

Minimum 300 hours PIC time in multi-engine turboprop aircraft

DOD Secret security clearance required; DOD TS/SCI clearance is preferred

Ability to travel away from home for approximately 65 days on a rotational basis, potentially longer, without requiring relocation

Demonstrated teamwork and ability to work in close proximity to others and in varied environmental conditions
