The Role: Citation Ultra Captain

Based in Toronto, the Citation Ultra Captain will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of flights, maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. This challenging and rewarding role involves:

  • Acting as Captain on a Citation Ultra aircraft.
  • Conducting flights with unwavering adherence to safety protocols.
  • Providing operational support on reserve days.
  • Collaborating closely with Chartright's Flight Coordination Centre and Sales team.
  • Fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive client experience.
  • Participating in monthly training courses and fulfilling other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
  • Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR.
  • Valid Transport Canada Medical.
  • Canadian Radio Telephone License.
  • Minimum of 1500 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 250 multi-engine PIC hours (jet or turbine time preferred).
  • University degree or College diploma in Aviation (preferred).
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Proficiency with flight management systems and glass cockpits.
  • Comprehensive understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, weight, and balance.
  • Expert knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices.
  • Positive attitude and strong collaborative skills, with the ability to build relationships effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional client service, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule to accommodate client needs.
  • Prior international flying experience (Europe & South America) is required.
  • Previous experience on type is preferred.
