Silver Air is seeking an experienced Captain to operate its Gulfstream GIV aircraft from its Teterboro location. This pivotal role involves ensuring the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft while meeting client travel requirements.
About the Role

Review aircraft maintenance status to confirm airworthiness.

Perform pre-flight inspections as per the Aircraft Flight Manual.

Assess weather and facilities for the planned route and alternate airports.

Ensure flight operations adhere to Silver Air policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations.

Uphold the safety of passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.

Accurately complete all necessary trip paperwork.
Requirements

Total time in all aircraft: 3,500 hours (3,000 hours as Pilot in Command).

Multi-engine time: 3,000 hours (2,000 hours as Pilot in Command).

Total time in airplane type (GIV or comparable): 200 hours (100 hours as Pilot in Command).

Type rating on the Gulfstream GIV or a comparable aircraft.

Valid First Class Medical Certificate.

Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted international travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.

Strong customer service and professional communication skills (verbal and written).

High level of organization, adaptability to changing environments, and flexibility with shifting priorities.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to work on-call, under pressure, and multi-task. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to be a contributing team member.
Qualifications

Total Turbine time: 1,750 hours (preferred).

Previous Part 135 experience (preferred, not required).

Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.1.0 pertaining to aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.
