Responsibilities:

The Captain will be responsible for the safe operation of the Challenger 604 aircraft. This includes:

  • Serving as a Captain on the Challenger 604 aircraft at Waterloo International Airport.
  • Ensuring all flights are conducted with the highest safety standards.
  • Supporting daily operational activities during reserve days.
  • Liaising with Chartright's Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to fulfill operational and service requirements.
  • Fostering a collaborative environment where team members share ideas and solutions.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, contributing to an outstanding client experience.
  • Completing monthly training courses and other duties as required.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
  • Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR rating.
  • Valid Transport Canada Medical certificate.
  • Canadian Radio Telephone License.
  • Minimum of 3000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 1000 multi-engine Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours; jet or turbine time is preferred.
  • A University degree or College diploma in Aviation is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits.
  • A strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, and weight and balance.
  • Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices.
  • A positive mindset with the ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional client service, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support clients' needs.
  • Previous international flying experience (Europe & South America) is required.
  • Previous time on type is preferred.

The role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule.
