The First Officer will ensure flights are conducted safely, support daily operational activities on reserve days, and liaise with Chartright’s Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to ensure all operational and service requirements are met. They will foster a collaborative environment, encourage open communication, and provide exceptional customer service to clients. Additionally, the First Officer will participate in monthly training courses and other assigned duties.

The ideal candidate possesses a Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) and a Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR rating, along with a valid Transport Canada Medical Certificate and a Canadian Radio Telephone License. A minimum of 2000 hours total flight time and 500 multi-engine PIC hours (jet or turbine time preferred) are required. A University degree or College diploma in Aviation is advantageous. The candidate should be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and possess hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits. A strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, and weight and balance is essential, as is expert knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices. They must also have a positive mindset, strong collaboration skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional client service, organizational, and prioritization skills are crucial. The ability to work a flexible schedule to support client needs is required, as is previous international flying experience (Europe & South America). Previous time on type is preferred.
