Beechjet Pilot in Command
About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Beechjet Pilot in Command. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of passengers and/or cargo, adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and compliance with all FAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Pilot aircraft with unwavering adherence to all FAA, Customs, and airport regulations.
- Demonstrate proactive time management by arriving for duty with ample time for preflight inspections and necessary paperwork.
- Maintain open communication with the Chief Pilot, promptly reporting any potential violation of regulations or medical conditions that could impact flight safety.
- Ensure timely and seamless transportation of passengers and/or cargo to domestic and international destinations.
- Collaborate effectively with Customs officials, providing all required documentation.
- Provide consistent updates to dispatch regarding location, time, paperwork, and aircraft data.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with air traffic control throughout all phases of flight.
- Remain current on all FAA rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Participate in required training, flight checks, and recurrent training as mandated.
- Maintain all necessary certificates and medical certifications.
- Actively utilize the Safety Management System to contribute to the company’s commitment to safety, efficiency, and policy adherence.
Qualifications
- Active ATP Multi-Engine Certificate
- Active US Passport
- Minimum of 1500 flight hours (including 500 Cross Country, 100 Night, and 75 Instrument)
- Class I Medical
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Part 135 environment
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of FARs
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This role requires physical agility, including the ability to lift and maneuver cargo/luggage weighing up to 100 pounds. Pilots must be comfortable sitting in a confined space for extended periods and frequently entering and exiting the aircraft.
Travel Requirements
This position demands extensive travel, including frequent trips to other states and countries, often requiring overnight stays and weekend work. Candidates must possess the ability to travel to and from Canada, Mexico, and other international destinations without restriction.
