Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of flight operations. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Captain in all phases of flight, strictly adhering to company policies, standard operating procedures, and international aviation regulations.
- Performing duties as Pilot Flying (PF) and Pilot Monitoring (PM) with precision, vigilance, and professionalism.
- Upholding the highest standards of safety, operational discipline, and professionalism at all times, contributing to an impeccable safety record.
- Actively contributing to a positive, collaborative, and multicultural working environment within the flight deck and across the operational team.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this challenging and rewarding role, applicants must meet the following stringent criteria:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 1500 hours of multi-pilot, multi-engine time accumulated on jet aircraft or turboprop aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) above 10 tons or a seating capacity exceeding 19 seats.
- Engine Type Experience: Demonstrated experience of 1500 hours on multi-engine aircraft and 1500 hours on turbine aircraft.
- License: Possession of a valid EASA Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), complete with Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Engine (ME) endorsements. Successful applicants will be required to agree to transfer their license to a Luxembourg-issued EASA license.
- Medical: A current EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- English Language Proficiency: Demonstrated ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 6.
- Type Rating: A specific type rating is not a prerequisite, as comprehensive and industry-leading training will be provided by Cargolux.
- Education: Minimum full second-level graduation is required (e.g., Baccalauréat, Abitur, A-Level Exam, Matura, or equivalent international qualification).
- Safety Standards: An impeccable safety record and unwavering commitment to the highest operational and personal safety standards.
- Work Environment: Proven ability to thrive and contribute effectively within a dynamic, diverse, and multicultural team environment.
- Travel Eligibility: Unrestricted rights for international travel are essential.
- Background Check: Successful completion of a rigorous security background check and a pre-employment medical examination is required.

Senior First Officer Consideration
