CRJ Instructor Pilot
CAE, the worldwide leader in training aviation professionals, is searching for a Full-Time CRJ Instructor Pilot to join their esteemed team in Toronto.
This individual will be responsible for delivering top-tier training primarily in a flight simulator environment, but also in ground school settings as required. Adhering to all relevant regulatory and customer requirements is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive instruction for initial, transition, upgrade, and recurrent flight training, adhering to FAA, Transport Canada, and CAE policies and procedures.
- Deliver flight training in accordance with the CAE 14 CFR142 Manual.
- Champion crew resource management (CRM) principles throughout training.
- Monitor and support administrative programs within flight training operations.
- Conduct thorough and professional pre and post-flight simulator briefings in line with CAE standards.
- Execute simulator sessions adhering to CAE, aircraft manufacturer, or customer-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide expert simulator flight instruction leading to the issuance of licenses, type ratings, and certificates.
- Meticulously complete client training records to ensure understanding and a seamless handover to other instructors.
- Recommend remedial training for clients facing challenges in meeting required training progress.
- Diligently record simulator usage and discrepancies using established procedures.
Qualifications:
- Transport Canada ATPL or FAA ATP with CL65 type rating (Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Previous FAR 121 or CAR 705 experience as a flight crew member (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of relevant aviation regulations.
- Strong customer orientation, even under pressure.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
