Voyageur Aviation Corp. is seeking a Captain for its CRJ domestic fleet based in North Bay, Ontario. This full-time position involves the safe and efficient operation of company CRJ aircraft as Pilot-in-Command, crew supervision, and ensuring operational control and on-time performance.

About the Role

The Captain will report to the Director, Flight Operations. Key responsibilities include briefing the crew on planned operations, maintaining operational control throughout flights, supervising crew members, and coordinating with dispatch, ATC, FSS, and customers. The role also requires ensuring the availability of necessary navigation equipment, completing operational paperwork, leading safety briefings, and proactively utilizing the company's Safety and Risk Management system. Adherence to company policies, regulations, and standard operating procedures is paramount.

Requirements

• Valid ATPL (ICAO)
• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time
• Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time
• Minimum 500 hours PIC on turbofan aircraft over 12,500 lbs
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to identify solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work a flexible rotation schedule
• Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restriction
• Legal eligibility to work for a Canadian company (e.g., Canadian citizenship, permanent residence, or valid work permit)
• Clear Criminal Background Check

Qualifications

• A CL65 type rating is considered an asset.
• Previous CARs Subpart 705 airline operational experience is considered an asset.
