The world’s leading Airline Training Organization is looking for a Nominated Postholder; Chief Flight Instructor, whom will be responsible for the Flight Training Operations on 2 continents.

The CFI is ultimately responsible for implementing and ensuring quality and standards, with focus on the Ab-Initio Flight Training Operation.

CFI. The Role
As Chief Flight Instructor you shall be responsible to ensure the flight and in simulator training delivered is in compliance with the regulations and CAE policies, for both training that is approved under the CAE ATO and for training that is approved under the customers training approval.
The CFI is ultimately responsible is to ensure supervision and standardization of all flight instruction and flight simulator instruction and will lead and take ownership of defining flight instructors training before release as flight instructors driving performance through the relevant training managers
The CFI will support Head of Training delivery and Manager Training Services in client remedial training and performance issues and assist in the selection of Training Managers, and mentor the Training Managers. Will play an active part in managing performance and training of the Training Managers working alongside the Centre Leaders to deliver success and will review and observe student feedback to ensure that the training delivered is in line with requirements set.
The CFI will support the ATO Safety Manager promoting the safety culture of the company working collaboratively with the relevant safety teams ensuring best practice in conjunction with the Training Design function of the CGTO, ensure the training programs and courseware comply with regulator and CAE standards.
The CFI will drive compliance in the FTO ATO working collaboratively with the compliance departments responsible and will be supervising and supporting a global team of Training Managers that is located throughout the world.
The CFI will be responsible for defining requirements and ensuring continuous development and revision of the Operations and Training Manuals, SOPs and syllabi, whilst ensuring that training is carried out in strict adherence to them.
