OCU Pilot Instructor - Boeing Defence UK
Boeing Defence UK seeks two highly skilled OCU Pilot Instructors to join its expanding training team at the P-8A Training Centre in RAF Lossiemouth. These individuals will report to the Boeing P-8A Training Delivery Manager, through the Lead Pilot Instructor, and will be responsible for delivering simulator training for P-8A pilot customer training. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing team of training experts within a dynamic and innovative company.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the defense flight training domain as a qualified flight training instructor. Prior experience with the P-8A aircraft is highly desirable, as is previous Boeing 737 type rating.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include delivering P-8A simulator and ground training in accordance with company standards, customer requirements, and MAA regulatory guidelines; developing and conducting simulator and ground school pilot instruction; developing training tools and techniques to support customer requirements; applying instructor-led and computer-based training methodologies; coordinating training and applying standardized teaching techniques; evaluating student competence; and identifying and correcting conditions that affect safety. Additional relevant activities, as directed by Boeing, may be required.

Essential Requirements
Essential requirements for the position include being a B737 Type Rated Instructor (TRI) or Simulator Flight Instructor (SFI); successful completion of the Aircrew Instructors' Course (AIC) or a civilian equivalent; excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse personnel; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; and the ability to obtain UK Security Clearance. The ideal candidate will be a multi-engine fixed wing Pilot (preferably ex-military) with significant large aircraft, multi-engine/multi-crew experience.
