Blue Islands is seeking a Type Rated Captain to join its team, as it embarks on an exciting new phase as the Channel Islands Airline and evolves its fleet to the next generation of turboprops - the ATR 72-600 series aircraft for 2025.
Blue Islands provides year-round, sustainable air connectivity to and from the Channel Islands. Its ATR 72 fleet operates 900 flights per month between Guernsey and Jersey and the UK and Europe. The airline plays a vital role in keeping communities connected, ensuring the socio-economic wellbeing of the Channel Islands.
The role is a permanent, direct entry Captain position within a friendly team of 100 people. The position is based in either Guernsey or Jersey. The commute is a maximum of 30 minutes.
Blue Islands operates 900 flights per month to and from Channel Islands on all ATR fleet with scheduled flights across a regional network, plus ad-hoc and series charter flights throughout UK and Europe for tour operators and top-flight sport teams.

First flight is at 0700 and last flight arrives at 2130, with a balanced roster, typically either AM or PM shifts. Applicants must possess a valid UK CAA ATPL(A), be a British passport holder or have the right to live and work in the UK and be able to provide references to pass a five-year background and criminal record check.
