Babcock Mission Critical Services Onshore (BMCSO) is seeking an experienced Touring Pilot to join their team at Gloucestershire Airport, near Cheltenham. This full-time, permanent role involves operating state-of-the-art EC135 and EC145 helicopters for a variety of mission-critical operations, including Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS), Police, and Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) operations. The successful candidate will contribute to life-saving and community protection efforts.
As a Touring Pilot for Babcock, the role entails conducting challenging flying operations across diverse disciplines. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of aircraft, crew, and passengers, responding effectively to emergency situations, and performing HEMS, Police, and NVIS flying in accordance with operational procedures. The role also involves managing operational records, flight documentation, and maintaining regulatory compliance while upholding exceptional professional and safety standards. This position is typically based at Gloucestershire Airport.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
