Touring Pilot

Babcock International seeks a highly skilled and experienced Touring Pilot to join its team. The Touring Pilot will play a critical role in providing aviation services for mission-critical operations. Location: Staverton, UK (with potential for UK touring based from Staverton HQ or other operating bases)

Responsibilities:

Perform varied flying duties across disciplines like HEMS and NVIS operations.
Maintain the highest standards of professional expertise and safety.

Essential Experience:

Minimum 2000 hours total helicopter experience.
1000 hours Pilot in Command/Captain of aircraft, including 500 hours Pilot in Command on twin-turbine helicopters; OR 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS/Police operations, including 500 hours as Pilot in Command Under Supervision and 100 hours pilot in command of twin turbine helicopters.
500 hours operating experience in twin-turbine helicopters in an operational environment similar to the intended operation.
20 hours VFR at night as pilot in command.

Qualifications:

Hold a UK ATPL(H) or CPL(H) + IR.
Possess a Class 1 Medical Certificate.
Preferred: Type Rating on either an EC135 or H145.
Fluent English, Driving License, Passport, and Right to Work in the UK.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance. Eligibility for certain roles may be affected by place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency held or have held.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position, 42.5 hours per week, based at one of our UK operating bases. Candidates should ideally live within 45 minutes of a BMCSO operating base.
