The role

As a Cambridge co-pilot, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Operating HEMS and air ambulance in support of the East Anglian air ambulance

Day to day you’ll Co-pilot to operate HEMS and Air Ambulance missions, both by day and utilising NVIS for night operations.

The successful candidate would be required to reside within forty-five minutes/ twenty five miles of Cambridge Airport or decide for accommodation at their own expense.

Essential experience of the Cambridge Co-Pilot

  • Five hundred hours minimum total helicopter experience.
  • Be qualified and instrument rated on both the EC135 and EC145.
  • Current or recent HEMS experience.
  • Have experience of flight with night vision goggles.
  • Fluent English, driving license, passport, right to work in the UK.

This role is full time and based onsite at Cambridge Airport.

Qualifications for the Cambridge Co-Pilot

  • Hold an EASA ATPL (H) or CPL(H) with IR

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
