FIXED CABIN CREW FOR ATLANTIC AIRWAYS

As a flight attendant/steward at Atlantic Airways, you get the opportunity to try out a challenging position in a Faroese airline. We are a small airline with big ambitions. We are flexible, hardworking, present and of course have a twinkle in our eye. The job as cabin crew in Atlantic Airways is a permanent full-time position based in Billund or Copenhagen.
Your task will first and foremost be to ensure the safety of the passengers. At the same time, you will be our external face and help put our customers at the center and show that Atlantic Airways is an ambitious and quality-conscious airline with first-class services.
Requirements
The position is best suited to you who:
is at least 20 years old
has good communication skills in Danish and English
can be health approved to obtain a flight permit (has good health – both physical and mental)
have normal vision (including normal color vision) and normal hearing
can swim 200 meters
not have visible tattoos
Applicants must have a clean criminal record and must pass the various airport security awareness courses including a five-year background check of your CV.
Drug and alcohol tests are carried out on all selected applicants in order for the applicant to be approved for the necessary courses.
If you have finished your upper secondary education and want to try something new before you continue with higher education, this position may be just right for you. It is also possible to work some weekends at the same time as you are studying.

understand Faroese - it is only an advantage and not a requirement
Employment
Employment interviews will be in week 50. If you are offered a job, you must undergo a medical examination in Copenhagen in week 2, 3 or 4 of 2024. Before starting the job, you must participate in a course in the Faroe Islands and in Copenhagen in week 5, 6, 7 and 8 in 2024. In week 5 the course is in the Faroe Islands and otherwise in Copenhagen. The teaching takes place in English.
Travel, accommodation and daily allowance for food are provided during the period you participate in the course. Internship on board the aircraft is determined by further agreement.
Working time and place
When you have taken the course, passed the cabin work test and received health approval, you must, by agreement, be available for the necessary internship on our aircraft, so that you are ready to work full time by agreement. Of course, we take into account the necessary statutory rest time. We expect you to be flexible and available for as many flying hours as possible. The work is based in Copenhagen or Billund. Salary and unemployment benefits are according to the applicable collective agreement.
