Captain Position with UNI Air – ATR72-600
UNI Air is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Captain to join its team based in Taipei, Taiwan. This is a four-year contract position, renewable upon successful performance.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will command ATR72-600 aircraft, adhering to all safety regulations and company procedures. Further details regarding flight hours will be provided upon request.
Qualifications
- Flight Hours: 3000+ total flight hours, with 500+ PIC hours on the ATR72-600, or 1000+ PIC hours on commercial multi-engine, multi-crew aircraft.
- Experience: Minimum five years of verifiable aviation industry employment (or two years with a Bachelor’s degree).
- Language Proficiency: ICAO Level 4 Aviation English or FAA English Proficiency.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid ICAO ATPL, JAA ATPL(A), or FAA ATPL; First-Class Medical Certificate (frozen ATPLs are not acceptable). Type rating required.
- Medical: Class A/Class One Medical Certificate.
- Record: Clean flight incident/accident and criminal record history. Last proficiency check must be within the last 12 months.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary package commences at NT$2,856,000, plus bonus and per diem. The monthly salary during the training period is NT$194,500, increasing to NT$238,000 upon completion.
- Days Off: Eight days off per month.
- Annual Leave: Accrued according to Taiwanese Labor Law.
- Sick Leave: Up to 30 days paid sick leave per calendar year (first 5 days at full pay, remaining 25 days at half pay).
- Bonus: Subject to UNI Air policy.
- Travel Benefits: Subject to UNI Air's ticket benefit regulations, dependent on seniority. ZED tickets for EVA Air, China Airlines, Mandarin Airlines, and Tiger Air are available.
- Housing: Company provided accommodation.
- Per Diem: Currently US$3 per duty hour.
- Insurance: National Health Insurance (employee responsible for 30% of premiums); Accident insurance (up to 45 months' salary compensation); Loss of License insurance (subject to policy, covering from the first operational flight to age 55).
Additional Information
- Taxation: Subject to R.O.C. tax law (13-21%, dependent on dependents and pay).
- Pension: Subject to R.O.C. Labor Standard Law.
- Probationary Period: Six months from the first operational flight.
