Allegiant Air is seeking dedicated Flight Attendants to join their team in the United States. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of passengers throughout their journey, while also representing the company and promoting its services.
About the Role
Flight Attendants are responsible for the security, safety, and comfort of customers from pre-boarding through to arrival at their final destination. This position involves providing high-quality customer service, accurately accounting for passengers and goods, and promoting the sale of products and services offered by Allegiant and its industry partners. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with government regulations, including those set forth by the FAA and TSA.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must be authorized to work in the US.

Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Minimum of one (1) year of direct customer service experience.

Basic computer skills and comfort using a tablet (e.g., iPad).

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Must be able to perform all job functions as needed.

Must be able to attend a minimum of 4 1/2 weeks of training in Las Vegas and be willing to share accommodation.

Relocation to the domicile after training, if required, is at the applicant's expense.

Ability to react quickly with good judgment.

Ability to walk comfortably while facing forward down an aircraft aisle.

Capability to rapidly maneuver and fit through aircraft overwing exits.

Ability to fit into a jump seat harness without modification.

Capability to quickly and efficiently sit down and fasten seatbelts with urgency.

Job Duties
-
Perform pre-boarding security checks.
-
Provide support to crewmembers and leadership.
-
Direct and assist customers in accordance with regulations and policies.

Conduct pre-flight safety checks of the cabin.
-
Ensure passengers are seated and baggage is stored, and confirm compliance with safety regulations.

Take action to maximize customer and crew safety during unusual conditions.

Assess customers for signs of intoxication or potential threats.
-
Serve and sell food, beverages, and other goods.
-
Attend to special customer needs.
-
Communicate travel-related information effectively to customers.
-
Document and file reports, including inventory and trip reports.

Complete international paperwork as required.

Upload onboard sales information timely.

Other duties as assigned.
Training
-
Successful completion of a minimum 4 1/2 week new hire training program with a minimum of 5 hours of Initial Operating Experience.

Maintain a 90% or above average on all exams and successfully perform physical job requirements, including emergency drills.

Participate in water emergency training.
-
Class hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
-
Employment is offered upon successful completion of the training program.

Trainees receive a daily per diem.
-
Ongoing recurrent training includes active participation in simulated emergency situations and operating emergency equipment.
Physical Requirements

Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate equipment.

May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 100 lbs.

May be required to work various shifts in a 24-hour period.

Regular attendance is required.

Exposure to extreme noise, temperature, wind, and light fluctuations.

Ability to work in a confined area and sit at a computer terminal for extended periods.

Travel is a requirement.
