About the Role
Allegiant Air is seeking dedicated Flight Attendants to join their team in [Location, if specified]. Flight Attendants are responsible for various duties, from pre-boarding to final destination arrival, including accurate passenger accounting, promoting company products, and adhering to all government regulations.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.

Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Possess a High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of one (1) year of direct customer service experience.

Ability to perform all job functions as needed.

Must be able to attend a minimum of 4 1/2 weeks of training in Las Vegas and willingness to share accommodation.

Must be able to react quickly with good judgment.

Ability to walk comfortably facing forward down an aircraft aisle.

Capability to rapidly maneuver and fit through aircraft overwing exits.
-
Ability to fit into a jump seat harness without modification or extension.

Capability to quickly and efficiently sit down and fasten seatbelts with urgency.

Basic computer skills and comfort using a tablet (e.g., iPad).

Names on all required forms of identification must match.

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently to understand instructions, ensure safety, and interact with customers.

Must be able to present a professional image, including a neat, well-groomed appearance as outlined in the Flight Attendant Uniform Style Guide.

Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential.
Qualifications

Previous flight attendant experience is preferred.

Job Duties
-
Perform pre-boarding security checks of aircraft, customers, and carry-on baggage.

Provide support to other crewmembers and leadership.
-
Provide direction and assistance to customers in accordance with government regulations and company policies.

Conduct pre-flight safety checks of the cabin area.
-
Ensure customers are seated and carry-on baggage is stored properly.
-
Advise passengers and confirm compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
-
Take action to maximize the safety of customers and crew during unusual conditions.

Assess and evaluate customers for signs of intoxication or potential threats.
-
Serve and sell food, beverages, and goods to customers.
-
Attend to the special needs of customers.
-
Effectively communicate with customers individually and via intercom.

Document and file required reports, such as inventory and trip reports.

Complete international paperwork as required.

Upload onboard sales timely.

Other duties as assigned.
Training
-
Successful completion of a minimum 4 1/2-week new hire training program, including at least 5 hours of Initial Operating Experience.

Trainees must maintain a 90% or above average on all written and oral exams.

Trainees must successfully perform the physical requirements of the job, including emergency/evacuation drills.

Trainees must participate in water emergency training.
-
Class hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Employment is offered upon successful completion of the entire training program.

Trainees are paid a daily per diem to cover miscellaneous expenses.

Recurrent/ongoing training includes participation in simulated emergency situations and operation of aircraft emergency equipment.
