This pivotal role involves operating a Legacy 600 aircraft for a combination of Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Role Overview
The First Officer will serve as an integral part of the flight team, working collaboratively with the Captain to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Captain in all phases of flight, from pre-flight planning and inspections to in-flight operations and post-flight duties.
- Ensure strict compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and relevant international aviation rules (Part 91 and Part 135).
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and contribute to effective crew resource management.
- Conduct thorough systems checks and manage aircraft systems proficiently.
- Represent the company with utmost professionalism and discretion when interacting with passengers and ground personnel.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess the following essential qualifications:
- A valid Air Transport Pilot (ATP) License is required.
- A minimum of 2000 hours Total Flight Time across all aircraft types, including at least 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC).
- A minimum of 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land Time, with at least 100 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) in multi-engine aircraft.
- A minimum of 150 hours Instrument Time.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate aviation, specifically with Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
- The ability to effectively manage responsibilities in a fast-paced and demanding operational setting.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Farmingdale, NY area.
