Managed G550 Pilot in Command - Opa Locka, Florida
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team operating a state-of-the-art Gulfstream G550. As Pilot in Command, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient air transportation for Airshare's clientele. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced aviator with a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow crew members to execute all aspects of flight operations on the G550
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism in all aspects of the role
- Represent Airshare positively and professionally while interacting with owners and passengers
- Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to optimize operational efficiency and meet evolving business needs
Schedule:
This position is based in Opa Locka, Florida, and requires residency within one hour of the base. The two-person Pilot in Command team enjoys 8 days off per month with the remaining time on-call. Typical flying commitments average 10-12 days per month, totaling approximately 350 hours annually.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4,000 total flight hours
- Minimum 500 hours as Pilot in Command or Second in Command on jet aircraft
- Recent experience in corporate aviation
- First Class Medical certificate
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Commercial Pilot License
- Current instrument proficiency, meeting all requirements for flight time and night landings
- Ability to successfully complete an instrument competency check in the assigned aircraft category
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
