Airblue is seeking highly qualified and experienced pilots to join its team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5000 total flight hours, including 1000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and 1000 hours on turbine aircraft. While a type rating is not mandatory, Airblue will provide comprehensive training. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of 1000 hours as first pilot (P1) on transport jet or turboprop aircraft with a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of Category B (5700 kg to 40,000 kg) or higher. Preference will be given to candidates holding a type rating and/or those with Type Rating Instructor/Training Examiner (TRI/TRE) and/or Simulator Flight Instructor/Examiner (SFI/SFE) endorsements on their Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
Candidates must hold a valid ATPL issued by an ICAO- and PCAA-approved authority, along with a Class 1 medical certificate and an ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4. While a Bachelor's degree is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement. Visa sponsorship is not available, and COVID-19 vaccination status is not specified as a requirement.
