Cabin Crew Job Description

An aviation organization is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Cabin Crew member to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers. The successful candidate will be responsible for pre-flight preparations, passenger interaction, in-flight service, and post-flight duties.

Responsibilities:

The Cabin Crew member attends pre-flight briefings, during which working positions are assigned for the upcoming flight. They carry out pre-flight duties, including checking safety equipment, ensuring aircraft cleanliness, updating seat pocket information, and verifying the presence of meals and stock.

The Cabin Crew welcomes passengers on board, directs them to their seats, informs them of safety procedures, and ensures secure storage of hand luggage. Prior to take-off, they check passenger seat belts and galley security.

During the flight, the Cabin Crew makes announcements on behalf of the pilot, answers passenger questions, and performs sales of meals and duty-free goods, advising passengers of allowance restrictions at their destination. They reassure passengers and ensure adherence to safety procedures in emergency situations.

Upon arrival, the Cabin Crew ensures passengers disembark safely, verifies no luggage remains in overhead lockers, and completes necessary paperwork, including writing a flight report.

The candidate possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with customers and colleagues. They are proficient in both oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

A high comfort level working in a diverse environment, a passion for travel, and a desire to assist passengers are essential. A minimum SPM qualification with credits in English and Bahasa Melayu is required.
