Aviation Cadet Pilot Program
This Cadet Pilot Program focuses on selecting and training aspiring pilots by assigning successful candidates to a flying school to commence their professional pilot training journey.
Minimum Selection Requirements:
Essential Criteria:
- Must be a Malaysian Citizen.
- Candidate should be aged between 18 and 28 years in the year of application.
- A minimum height of 158cm is required.
- Candidates must demonstrate a good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- A healthy Body Mass Index (BMI) not exceeding 30 is mandatory.
- Distant visual acuity must be 6/9 or better in each eye, with binocular visual acuity of 6/6 or better.
- Refractive error should be 5 diopters or less; final approval is contingent on a medical doctor or AirAsia Ophthalmologist Report.
Academic Qualifications:
Applicants must meet one of the following academic criteria:
Option 1: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent
- Achieved Grade A in Mathematics and English.
- Achieved Grade B in Physics or Grade A in General Science.
- Achieved Grade B in any other two subjects.
or
Option 2: Degree Prerequisites (Recognized by the Ministry of Education Malaysia)
- Holds a Degree in an Engineering or Science-related discipline.
- Achieved a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 and above.
- Possesses an SPM with a minimum Grade B in 5 subjects, which must include English, Mathematics, and Science.
This program seeks dedicated individuals passionate about pursuing a career in aviation as a pilot and commencing pilot training.
