Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member acts as Air Arabia’s ambassador, striving to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image through enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides excellent customer service to all passengers whilst ensuring their safety and comfort are achieved throughout the complete flight cycle. He/She must be ready and fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with set measures and company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, distribution of roles, targets, and security checks.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. Identifies safety and security risks and partners with the Cabin Supervisor to take remedial action according to SOPs. Administers first aid to passengers when necessary. Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions promptly.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities. Enters necessary data into the aircraft logbook. Provides constant, excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties according to Operations Manual policies. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Carries out pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided. Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Carries out post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting problems or discrepancies.
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct. Carries out the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, and by ensuring current license. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportional to Age and Height.
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous cabin crew experience or customer service experience in the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an added value.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
