Cabin Crew Operations Manager
The Cabin Crew Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day cabin crew operations for G9. This role ensures safety, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, crew readiness, and the delivery of a consistently high customer experience in alignment with Air Arabia’s brand promise.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily G9 cabin crew operations, ensuring punctuality, safety, and strict regulatory compliance, specifically with GCAA requirements.

Maintain and update Cabin Crew Operations Manuals in coordination with Quality and Safety departments, ensuring regulatory updates are implemented into operational procedures.

Oversee crew training and briefings regarding regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.

Manage documentation and record-keeping for internal reviews and compliance audits.

Monitor individual and team performance, attendance, and behavior, implementing necessary interventions for under-performance or absence.

Coordinate with the Operations Control Centre (OCC) regarding crew deployment, schedules, operational disruptions, and recovery efforts.

Monitor crew legality, fatigue reports, and operational readiness.

Implement a performance management framework, utilizing KPIs and benchmarks to track productivity and service quality.

Analyze operational data—including attendance, punctuality, and customer feedback—to identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.

Ensure consistent application of grooming, service, and professional standards.

Lead service excellence initiatives in collaboration with the Customer Experience team.

Manage, lead, and develop Duty Coordinators and Crew Supervisors.

Facilitate knowledge sharing across hubs to improve global cabin crew standards.

Oversee crew welfare, leave management, and engagement initiatives to maintain morale and productivity.

Present performance reports to Management, providing actionable insights and recommendations for operational improvement.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.

A Cabin Crew license, certification, or previous qualification as Cabin Crew is considered an advantage.
Professional Experience and Skills

Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing cabin crew operations, including experience leading diverse teams.

Significant background in cabin crew roles, ideally including supervisory or senior purser experience, with a proven track record in performance management.

Expert knowledge of cabin crew operations, airline regulations, fatigue management, rostering, and crew legality.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 airline operational environment.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for data analysis and reporting.

Strong capability in data interpretation to support operational decision-making and performance improvements.

Demonstrated expertise in decision-making during operational disruptions.

Comprehensive understanding of HR and disciplinary processes.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational coordination skills.
