Aviation Professional - Flight Crew

Education & Experience:
- An Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, supplemented by two to five years of relevant experience and/or training. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Operational and Safety Requirements:
- In accordance with flight crew regulations, all candidates must maintain a weight not exceeding 250 pounds and be under seventy (70) years of age.
Skills:
- The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues, EMS personnel, hospital staff, and the public. A commitment to maintaining a professional and friendly work environment is essential.
- Pilots must have actively flown within the relevant aircraft category within the preceding 24 months.
Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) Program - Minimum Requirements:
- 2,500 Total Flight Hours
- 1,000 hours in Turbo Prop aircraft (Multi or Single Engine)
- 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in the relevant aircraft category
- 500 hours of cross-country flight time
- 100 hours of night flight time
- 100 hours of actual instrument time in the relevant aircraft category
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Instrument rating for the applicable aircraft category and class is mandatory (an ATP rating in the category fulfills this requirement).
- Fixed-wing multiengine rating is required for twin-engine aircraft operations.
- FAA Commercial Single Engine Land certification is required.
- A valid First Class or Second Class FAA Medical certificate is mandatory.
