Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) - Shaping the Future of Aviation
Air France/KLM, a global leader in air transportation with the largest long-haul network from Europe, seeks a passionate and experienced Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) to join its Flight Crew Training Department.
About the Role:
As a Synthetic Flight Instructor, you will play a critical role in the training and development of Air France pilots and external clients. Based at our state-of-the-art facility in Roissy CDG, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and delivering high-quality instruction on various Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTD).
- Providing expert guidance and training to pilots and instructors on jet familiarization, Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC), Type Rating (TR) preparation, and TR courses.
- Contributing to the development of innovative training programs and materials.
- Maintaining a safe and professional learning environment that fosters excellence.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Holds a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL), or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Possesses a minimum of 1,500 flight hours as a pilot on multi-pilot aircraft.
- Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills.
- Exhibits the ability to motivate and engage trainees effectively.
- Exhibits proficiency in English (minimum B1 level or TOEIC score of 550 with 18 months validity).
- Prior experience as an SFI or Type Rating Instructor (TRI), particularly on A220, A320, A350, or A330 aircraft, is highly desirable.
