Air France-KLM, a leading global air carrier and operator of Europe's largest long-haul network, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) to join its Flight Training Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and conducting simulated flight training programs for Air France pilots and external clients, including airlines and private individuals. This crucial role contributes directly to the maintenance of the highest safety standards and operational excellence within the company.
The SFI will provide instruction to pilots and instructor trainees utilizing various Flight Training Devices (FTDs). This encompasses courses and lectures covering jet aircraft familiarization, Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training, pre-type rating, type rating, and instructor training.
This position requires non-standard working hours aligned with pilot training schedules. Work location: Roissy CDG Airport. The selection process includes a pedagogical evaluation, a motivational interview (preceded by a personality assessment), and an HR interview. Candidates lacking valid qualifications on at least one aircraft within the company fleet may be required to undergo a flight simulator assessment.
