Airbus: Seeking Highly Qualified Captain and Instructor (TRI/TRE)

This challenging role is tailored for a dedicated Captain with substantial instructor qualifications and experience on Airbus aircraft, committed to upholding the highest standards of flight operations and training.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 5,000 hours.
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: A minimum of 2,000 hours.
- Time on Type: A minimum of 2,000 hours on Airbus A320, A330, and/or A350 aircraft.
- Turbine Aircraft Time: A minimum of 2,000 hours.
- Jet Large Aircraft Time: A minimum of 2,000 hours.
- Captain on Airbus Aircraft: A minimum of 2,500 hours as Captain on Airbus aircraft.
- Instructor Experience (FFS): A minimum of 500 hours of instructor experience in a Full Flight Simulator (FFS) on large aircraft.
- LIFUS/IOE Experience: A minimum of 500 hours of experience as a Captain assigned to conduct Line Initial Operating Experience (LIFUS) / Initial Operating Experience (IOE).
- Type Rating & Instructor Certifications:
- Current and experienced as a Captain and Type Rating Instructor (TRI) on A320, A330, and/or A350 aircraft.
- Possession of a valid Instructor certificate without restrictions on the relevant aircraft type.
- A significant portion of the obtained instructor experience must be oriented towards initial type rating.
- Evidence-Based Training (EBT) / Competencies-Based Training Assessment expertise is required.
- Licensing: Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), Type Rating Examiner (TRE), and Type Rating Instructor (TRI) qualifications.
- License Holders: Open to EASA License holders.
- Medical: Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO ELP Level: English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher.
- Operational Qualifications:
- Holds a Low Visibility Operations qualification, demonstrating at least one Autoland on Airbus Fly-By-Wire (FBW) aircraft as Captain.
- Holds or has previously held an ETOPS qualification.
- Commercial Airline Experience: Significant commercial airline experience is essential.
Highly Desirable Attributes:
- Previous experience as a Type Rating Examiner (TRE) is a significant advantage.
- Prior managerial experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Flight Safety.
