Captain (Direct Entry) - Air Dolomiti
Air Dolomiti, a member of the Lufthansa Group, is currently seeking experienced Captains to join our expanding team. Based in Florence (FLR) or Venice (VCE), this role offers a structured career path within a collaborative and high-performance corporate culture. Proficiency in the Italian language is not required for this position.
Position Overview
The Captain holds ultimate responsibility for the safety of the aircraft, crew, and passengers, ensuring operational punctuality and service excellence. Key Responsibilities

Lead flight crews through positive, inclusive engagement, leveraging diverse team strengths and perspectives.

Operate aircraft safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and punctuality.

Execute all flight operations in strict accordance with Air Dolomiti operational directives.

Maintain active and professional cooperation with crew members, ground personnel, and air traffic control.

Professional Requirements

Valid EASA ATPL (A) License.

Minimum of 5,000 total flight hours in airline operations.

Minimum of 1,500 flight hours as a Captain in airline operations.

ICAO Level 4 English Language Proficiency.

Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.

EU citizenship or an unlimited residence and work permit.

Passport with unlimited validity (non-EU passports must not entail stricter entry restrictions than an EU passport).

Proven leadership and team-oriented decision-making skills.

Selection Process
Selection is conducted according to Air Dolomiti standards, with potential consideration for prior Lufthansa Group selection processes. Travel expenses incurred during the selection process are eligible for reimbursement up to a defined maximum limit.
