Flight Crew Member
This role serves as a crucial member of the flight crew, with primary responsibility for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of flights. The position contributes significantly to maintaining the highest levels of safety and service excellence. The individual's careful, professional, and mindful behaviour is essential in upholding the company’s esteemed reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Participating actively in flight briefings and ensuring comprehensive awareness of all flight specifics.
- Assisting in achieving the highest on-time performance standards.
- Addressing any problems or concerns raised and taking necessary actions in consultation with the Captain.
- Handling safety and security matters during the flight, adhering to relevant procedures in agreement with the Captain.
- Acting as an ambassador for the company, actively promoting its core values.
- Ensuring effective teamwork and providing support to colleagues as needed.
- Performing other duties relevant to achieving the company’s objectives within their scope of competence.
Candidate Profile
Required Attributes
- Compliance with local, national legislation, and health & safety standards.
- Adherence to Company policies, values, and the auditor’s code of ethics.
- Proactive reporting to hierarchy of any hazards, non-compliances, and risks affecting customers, employees, or the company.
- Displaying a positive, open, and cooperative attitude to facilitate effective working relationships with all parties involved, while maintaining a critical and analytical mindset.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Holds a valid EASA CPL or ATPL.
- Possesses a valid type rating with a valid IR rating.
- Has accumulated 1500 flight hours on B737/B747/B757/B767 or B777/787 aircraft.
- Has accumulated 2000 flight hours on aircraft with an MTOW exceeding 44 tons.
- Achieved ELP level 5 or higher.
- Possesses the legal right to live and work in Belgium.
- Holds all necessary certificates, including health-related ones, required for entry into territories served by the company.
