About the Role

An airline is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their cabin crew team for a recruitment drive in Bahrain. This role focuses on enhancing the passenger experience, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the flight cycle, and representing the airline positively. Successful candidates will contribute to operational efficiency and uphold company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, and fitness for assigned flights.
  • Conducting pre-flight briefings and acknowledging flight details.
  • Instructing passengers on safety procedures and ensuring their well-being.
  • Identifying and reporting safety and security risks to the Cabin Supervisor.
  • Administering first aid as necessary.
  • Promptly informing relevant crew members of any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Assisting passengers with boarding, requests, and needs, while attending to pre-bookings.
  • Promoting on-board revenue through efficient promotion of meals, products, and charity programs.
  • Handling cash and credit card payments securely.
  • Conducting pre-flight checks for supplies and equipment, reporting deficiencies.
  • Ensuring cabin cleanliness and adequate re-stocking of products during transit.
  • Facilitating smooth handover and takeover of the cabin with relevant staff.
  • Completing post-flight briefing and assessment reports.
  • Maintaining professional knowledge and license validity through continuous training.
  • Contributing to team objectives and achieving sales targets.

Requirements

  • Age: Between 20-29 for non-experienced crew; up to 33 years for experienced crew.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
  • Weight: In proportion to age and height.
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when in uniform.
  • Medically and physically fit for cabin crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is a plus.
  • Fit to fly with good general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Presentable, friendly, and positive attitude, even under stress.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to attend to passenger needs.
  • Capable of handling difficult situations and customers professionally.
  • Focused and efficient in handling threats and emergencies.
  • Proactive, self-motivated with initiative and teamwork competency.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.

Work Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous cabin crew experience or customer service roles in Airlines, Aviation, or hospitality are beneficial.
  • An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Ability to work shifts, extended hours, and adapt to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver against policies, procedures, and KPIs.
