Cabin Crew Opportunity - Cairo, Egypt
Air Arabia Egypt is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join its cabin crew team. The successful candidate will act as an ambassador for Air Arabia, ensuring customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. The Cabin Crew member provides exceptional customer service while prioritizing passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight. He/She must be prepared and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures to ensure their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies and reports safety and security risks to the Cabin Supervisor, taking remedial action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Greets passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provides excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment are available before takeoff; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying.
- Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures: provides objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reports any problems or discrepancies on the flight, and ensures proper closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and carries out the duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, and by ensuring current license.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation or hospitality industries is an advantage.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
